Register Now

Kentucky Association of School Administrators and The Center for Education Leadership is the KDE approved provider for Certified Evaluation Training. KASA will be conducting initial evaluator training in multiple locations and dates during the 2017-2018 school year.  The two-day training and testing is required for all new evaluators of certified personnel before completing the summative process.

The Initial Evaluator Training involves a variety of instructional strategies that will engage participants in the proper techniques for effectively evaluating certified school employees.  Upon completion of this two-day training, participants will receive twelve (12) hours of Effective Instructional Leadership Credit (EILA). The focus will be SB 1 and your Certified Evaluation Plan.

Updated information will be shared as soon as SB 1 updates to the KAR and KRS are completed. It may be late fall or early spring. Follow up trainings will be offered upon completion.

(Evaluators of certified teachers and other professionals must also complete additional training to be qualified to conduct classroom evaluations.)
