KEDC Audit
Tichenor & Associates, CPA and Management Associates, has completed the 2006-2007 KEDC audit. We are waiting for it to be released from the State Auditor’s office.
KPC/KEDC is in the process of renewing current 2007 Catalog, Pricelist, and Store Shelf vendors. Those that have accepted renewal is posted on the KYBUY website www.kybuy.org Please help notify your current vendors to make sure they are ready for the 2008 calendar year.

Catalog/List Price/Shelf Price Catalog Bids
Bids from new vendors are being accepted on-line for the new calendar year. Bids will be awarded approximately every 2 weeks throughout the year to continue to add new vendors.
Universal Service Fund Year 11
(July 1, 2008-June 30, 2009)
The application filing window will close at 11:50pm EST
on Thursday, February 7, 2008. If you
need assistance with your application or design of USF eligible projects,
please give me a call. This service is
provided at no charge for our members.
The USF program enables School Districts to obtain
discounts up to 90% on telephone and internet monthly charges, and networking
equipment such as web servers, ethernet network switches, telephone PBX’s, etc.
Universal Service Fund Year 10
(July 1, 2007-June 30, 2008)
Funding Commitments are being issued for Priority One services
(Telecommunications and Internet Access) and Priority Two services (Servers,
Routers, Cabling, etc). Priority Two
service Funding Commitments have dropped to the 83% discount level. Applications at the 79% discount level and
below are being denied due to funding constraints. It has not yet been determined if discounts
for the 81% and 82% discount levels will be funded.
