Smaller Learning Communities Grant Project

The Kentucky Educational Development Corporation (KEDC) is partnering with seven large high schools on a three-year, $2.3 million Smaller Learning Communities Implementation Grant project, funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The goal is to create smaller, more personalized learning environments within those schools, which, in turn, should boost student achievement and excitement, decrease dropout and discipline problems, and foster greater community support for those schools.
