Hardware Maintenance Services

    KEDC's  maintenance staff includes Novell Master Certified NetWare Engineers (MCNE), Novell Certified NetWare Engineers (CNE), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers (MCSE), and A+ Certified Computer Technicians.  Our technicians can repair almost any brand of computer and peripherals.  KEDC also offers a traveling computer clinic where technicians will visit your district to pickup equipment that needs to be repaired and drop off repaired equipment.  

Computer Hardware and Software Sales

    KEDC is an authorized reseller for several major distributors providing an avenue for you to purchase many items at dealer cost.  We can provide computers, printers, modems, printer ribbons, diskettes, special forms, maintenance parts, and other accessories to your district.  Contact us for current pricing and availability.  

Technology Cabling Services

KEDC can design and install a KETS Compliant Technology Cabling System for your schools and administrative buildings.  We can assist you through every phase of the project including design, purchasing of materials, and installation of your LAN and WAN.  Installation of Data, Voice, and Video are our specialty.  Our staff includes a Master Licensed Electrician and Installers certified in Category 5 and Fiber Optic Cabling installation. The installation staff sets their work schedule to your convenience so as not to disrupt the normal school day.  Quotes on cabling projects are available and include an on-site walk thru of the building to determine the particular needs of a school.

Software Support and Development

    KEDC provides free 800 number software support for Munis.  Districts can choose to receive 800 number support on KEDC's Central Office or School Based Pupil Attendance, and Osiris by purchasing annual maintenance on the software.
